She is a member of the Capulets’, daughter of Lady and Lord Capulet. She is a very beautiful young woman, only 14 years old. She is in the stage where she can't stand her parents. She rebels against them by having a relationship with Romeo who is from the competing house, The Montague’s. She is in that stage of teenager where you don't think things through you just go with it because when she meets Romeo in the Capulets' garden she is willing to marry him and give him all her riches.

"Three words, dear Romeo, and good night indeed. If that be thy bent of love be honorable, Thy purpose marriage, send me word to-morrow, Where and what time thou wilt perform the rite; and all my fortunes at thy foot I'll lay and follow thee, my lord, throughout the world."
